Special paint markers used to decorate porcelain and glass objects. Once marks are heated in a regular household oven, they permanently seal to the object- even through the dishwasher!
These universal/medium tip Marabu Porcelain & Glas markers have a 1-2mm rounded bullet tip for lettering, outlining, and drawing.
**These markers have been discontinued and will be available only while supplies last.**
Directions:
Before their first use, these valve-action tip markers will need to be primed to start paint flow. Press the tip in several times on a hard surface until paint saturates the tip.
Make sure the object to be painted can withstand high temperatures if you plan to bake the marks to fully seal them. Prepare the surface using soapy water as well as rubbing alcohol to completely remove dirt, dust, and grease, then let dry. Decorate your item and then let the paint air dry for at least 4 hours. Place in a cool oven and then allow the object to heat to 320 degrees F (160 degrees C) and bake for 30 minutes. Let cool in the oven.
Note: Even though these markers are water-based, they have not been tested for a "food-safe" rating. It is recommended that you do not paint areas of dishes that will come in direct contact with food or your mouth.
